Little Girl Dandelion Dress & Hat Set

Welcome to My Crafting Channel Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. We had thunderstorms on and off and supposed to be the same the next few days. With my renewed interest in crocheting over the past few months. I knew I needed to set some rules or the yarn would start to build up as the paper and stuff did for the paper crafting. So the main rule is I can't build up a yarn stash. I must find something that will  use up all left over yarn. I had yarn left over from the afghan I made my sister for her birthday you can see it here . So this morning I would like to share this cute little girl Dandelion Dress & Hat Set made with that left over yarn. I saw this cute pattern and knew I had to give it a try. I had never crocheted clothes before, well I did make a baby dress for Pam's new grand baby that is due soon and that dress I will post in a few days. I remember when Barbi was little she loved to blow on the Dandelion's when they turned white and make wishe...

Baby Security Blanket

Good afternoon. Popping in this afternoon to share a Security Blanket I made. I used Bernat Baby Blanket yarn. If you have never felt this yarn it is like touching a cloud. It is so thick and soft that even an adult would love a afghan made from it. I finished one a few weeks back for my daughter who is 36 and I know she is going to love it. Will get it posted in a few days. This for sure would be any child's favorite blanket. I plan to make some in different colors and of course some for boys.. without the ruffle. The average security measures 17'x17' but I wanted one a little larger so I made this one 28"x 28". This blanket can be machine washed and tumbled dry which make it perfect for daily use. You cam purchase this Security Blanket HERE Recipe: Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn, Pitter Patter 300 g (1.25) Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn, White 3300 g (.25) Crochet Hook  11.50 mm Thank you for stopping by. For Gift for Lisa from A Mermaids Crafts (Top Commenter 2014)

Happy Saturday to you all. As many of you know I announced the Top Commenter for 2014 a few weeks back. With Corbin being here and being sick I'm just now getting around to getting something made for her (Lisa). I had several things in mind. However, after getting out my crochet hooks and watching some YouTube videos I ran across this gorgeous lacy, frilly scarf and fell in love with it. I thought the colors were perfect for her. It has all the colors she uses most of the time in her cards, she love Mermaids and these colors reminds me of the sea. So I made it using the same colors as Melanie from IHeartStitcing . Here is a Link to her video with step by step instructions. Ruffle Scarf I did not want to post the scarf until Lisa received it. It was delivered today. Lisa I sure hope you enjoy your scarf and would love to see a pic of you wearing it. Hint Hint!! Recipe: Crochet Hook Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable Yarn, Tidal Video Tutorail   Ruf...

A Scarf in a Day!! (Pocket Fringe Scarf)

Good afternoon my friends. The past few days I have been crocheting. Years ago I made a few blankets, nothing fancy and learned to make 3 flowers. Now with all the videos on YouTube it sure makes learning MUCH more easy. When I saw this scarf I knew I had to make it. No one locally had the Cobble yarn so I had to wait 2 days to get it in. Was a very long 2 days. lol Naturally it is Red, since that is my favorite color. I was shocked when I was able to make it 5 1/2 hours. Using the Cobble yarn really made it go fast. Melanie from  IHeartStitching  has some great videos for anyone's level. Very easy to follow along with. Even a beginner like me had no problems making this scarf. If you would like to check out the How To video click HERE I do have another scarf that will be posting Friday or Saturday. It to is a IHeartStitching design. Can't post it until the recipient receives it. Don't want to spoil the surprise. I really LOVE this scarf. Would love to he...
