Welcome to My Crafting Channel. Good morning everyone. It is hard to believe that our weather is changing so fast. We are supposed to drop to freezing by the weekend EEK!!! I was hoping for a longer fall than what we had. I guess I look at the positive side of things. Silhouette Challenges #30 & 2 Creative Chicks Showcase #3

Welcome to My Crafting Channel It't time for our new Monthly Challenge over at Silhouette Challenges & 2 Creative Chicks For the 2 Creative Chicks Showcase  I created a watercolor card. I made this card for a dear friend to let her know how much I appreciate all she has done for me. I know my coloring still has a long way to go but I'm having fun learning. I stamped the one of the Betsy Bluebell  stamps on   Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock . Used the  Kuretake Fude Real Brush Pen, Clean Color  pens to color in the stamp. From the  My Creative Time Dies (4x4 Journal Die + More)  I used the large die to cut the colored image out.  I cut the word thanks from the  My Creative Time Happy Thoughts Stamp Set . Then added  Wink of Stella Clear Glitter  to the word thanks, dark blue parts of her dress, the butterflies and the middle of the flowers. The card as well and the front and inside layers were cut using...

Silhouette Challenges #28 Anything Goes

Welcome to My Crafting Channel Good morning friends. This is my second post for this morning. PLEASE take a few minutes and check out my cute little Sweet Love girl HERE  from earlier post. It't time for our new Monthly Challenge over at Silhouette Challenges . I wanted to pull out some of the Silhouette Kits I purchased a long time ago and give the ones a try that I had never opened. The first one pulled out was the Stamp Kit. I'm not a big stamper (hope to change that in the very near future) I was really impressed on how beautifully the stamp cut even with some small details. I did notice the stamp stains more than any others I have used. Here is a card I made using the stamp. I used the ink provided and was not thrilled with the stamping. Looks very spotty. I wanted to show it as is, using only the material and ink provided in the kit. I would use the kit again and next time experiment with different inks to see if there is one that works better. ...

Silhouette Challenges: Ch# 24 "Use a file in a completely different way than it was intended" (Paper wind Chime)

Good Morning! It's time for another challenge over at Silhouette Challenges . This month is  (Use a file in a completely different way than it was intended). For this challenge I created a Paper Wind Chime. Yes, I said it's a paper one. It maybe silent but will be really cute hanging in my craft room. I have a ceiling fan running all the time so it should constantly be moving.   The first fie I used in a way other than intended was the Box Pentagon. I used the lid for the top of my chime. I used fishing line to string the flowers and butterflies from the inside of the lid. The second file was the top part of the teapot. I mirrored it to the top and then overlapped it, merged and cut it out. I was then able to fold in half and use the bottom portion under a flap on the top of the box with just the little round part sticking out. Punch a hole in the middle to string the line through. I really like how it turned out. What say you? Recipe: W...

Silhouette Challenges Ch# 21 "3D Item for your Craft Room"

Good Morning! It's time for another challenge over at Silhouette Challenges . This month is create a (3D Item for your Craft Room). I needed a way to keep my embroidery machine and sewing machine bobbins separated. I saw this in the Silhouette store and I think they work will fine. I can not find my bobbins at this time as I packed it all up last week while we set up the new sewing island. However, when I do find them I can keep one located at my desk where my embroidery machine is and the other on the sewing island. Silhouette Challenges Ch# 20 "Anything Goes" Mid Posting

Good Morning! It's time for another challenge over at Silhouette Challenges. This month is (Anything Goes). I'm late in getting this post up and running. As I stated in my last post I have not been feeling well at all. I have a good day once and a while. I think I'm getting better then bang it hits me a again. This morning I knew sick or not I had to get my Christmas cards and Corbin PJ's done. Being out of time I was not able to make different cards for everyone so it's one card design for all. Pic was taken with the card standing so the sentiment does not look like it is centered in the oval but it is. I used the envelope that came in the file since I had none large enough. Instead of gluing the envelope I used a PNC from the Silhouette store and some sticker papers and love how it turned out. I wanted to also use a PNC from the Silhouette and the sticker paper to create my mailing labels. The pic I had taken before Sam left for the post ...
