Silhouette Challenges Ch# 21 "3D Item for your Craft Room"

Good Morning! It's time for another challenge over at Silhouette Challenges . This month is create a (3D Item for your Craft Room). I needed a way to keep my embroidery machine and sewing machine bobbins separated. I saw this in the Silhouette store and I think they work will fine. I can not find my bobbins at this time as I packed it all up last week while we set up the new sewing island. However, when I do find them I can keep one located at my desk where my embroidery machine is and the other on the sewing island. 3D Vintage Sewing Machine

Good morning everyone. It's almost 3:30 AM and I'm beat. I wanted to post this before I headed to bed. I just finished it. The pics are not so great. No light in my room this time of day. What do you think of my cute little Vintage Sewing Machine? I fell in love with this file the moment I saw it yesterday. It was a little bit of a challenge to put together. I did make a few mistakes on it. Nothing that I can't live with. I made it out of chipboard instead of card stock. That is where the issues came to play. The chipboard was not so easy to shape into the curves. The next one I make if I make another one will be made out of a heavy card stock and not chipboard. The wheel actually turns. It has a drawer and I love how it can be threaded. She looks so cute in my craft room. Embossing Folder Storage Box

Hello everyone. This is my second post for today. If you have not checked out my first post you can HERE . For a long time I have been looking for a way to store my embossing folders that would be easy to access and be more organized. Yesterday after looking once again at pre-made storage units I decided to just make my own. I look at a few in the Silhouette Store but felt since they would be made out of card stock they would not last very long at all. I wanted one that was strong and would last for years. I'm a HUGE fan of Kathy from Paper Phenomenon . Using her techniques for making boxes with chipboard and card stock hinges I designed a beautiful and very functional box to store my folders in that is very easy to access and will last for many years. It took about a hour to design the box and get all the measurements calculated. I wanted 3 sections in the box. The finished box is 12x12x8. The 2 side sections are a little over 5 inches wide and the middle 1 1/2...

It's a Little Tea Pot

Good afternoon everyone.  Finally a day of sunshine here. A little chilly but that is to be expected since we went down to 32 degrees last night. I sure wish I knew where spring is hiding out. I'm here to share this adorable little Tea Pot this with you. I know the colors are not what one would normally use. However, my New Years resolution was "Not to make anything that did not have a purpose". So I made this to match my craft room and will use it to store cotton balls in. I love it. What say you? Hat Box Storage for Ink Cartridges

Good afternoon everyone.  Last night while Sam was (FINALLY) putting my craft table together I was moving some stuff around and realized that I need the space where I have been keeping my printer ink cartridges. I decided that I would make a hat box that I could sit on a shelf that would be cute and functional. I know that some may not like or approve of the paper combo but I did not want it to all be matchy matchy. For the center Sam said to add a large cotton ball and it looks really cute.
