Knitted Santa & Snowman Scarf's

Welcome  to My Crafting Channel T.G.I.F. Good morning everyone. I think winter is here. Our high today is going to be a whopping 32 dropping to 16 tonight. Perfect time to share these adorable scarfs. I'm so pleased with how they turned out. I'm not a knitter but Sam got me the Small Addi which is a knitting machine for my birthday last year which I never played with until now. Barbi got me the large one this year for Christmas. (Yes, an early gift)  I have had a blast playing with them. Let me know what you think. Please! Thank you for stopping by. If you have taken the time to stop by then why not leave a comment? Comments are greatly appreciated!!! Have a Creative Day. Nana

For Gift for Lisa from A Mermaids Crafts (Top Commenter 2014)

Happy Saturday to you all. As many of you know I announced the Top Commenter for 2014 a few weeks back. With Corbin being here and being sick I'm just now getting around to getting something made for her (Lisa). I had several things in mind. However, after getting out my crochet hooks and watching some YouTube videos I ran across this gorgeous lacy, frilly scarf and fell in love with it. I thought the colors were perfect for her. It has all the colors she uses most of the time in her cards, she love Mermaids and these colors reminds me of the sea. So I made it using the same colors as Melanie from IHeartStitcing . Here is a Link to her video with step by step instructions. Ruffle Scarf I did not want to post the scarf until Lisa received it. It was delivered today. Lisa I sure hope you enjoy your scarf and would love to see a pic of you wearing it. Hint Hint!! Recipe: Crochet Hook Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable Yarn, Tidal Video Tutorail   Ruf...

A Scarf in a Day!! (Pocket Fringe Scarf)

Now with all the videos on YouTube it sure makes learning MUCH more easy. When I saw this scarf I knew I had to make it. No one locally had the Cobble yarn so I had to wait 2 days to get it in. Was a very long 2 days. lol Naturally it is Red, since that is my favorite color. I was shocked when I was able to make it 5 1/2 hours. Using the Cobble yarn really made it go fast. Melanie from  IHeartStitching  has some great videos for anyone's level. Very easy to follow along with. Even a beginner like me had no problems making this scarf. If you would like to check out the How To video click HERE I do have another scarf that will be posting Friday or Saturday. It to is a IHeartStitching design. Can't post it until the recipient receives it. Don't want to spoil the surprise. I really LOVE this scarf. Would love to he...
