New Years Resolutions

Happy Saturday my friends. It's a frigid day here in PA.
A whopping 7 degrees at 11:30 AM. We are staying in today for sure.

Corbin went home a few days ago. I so love having him hear. The house is too quite when he leaves. We had a good visit and look forward to Spring Break.

I have never been one to make New Years Resolutions. However, last year I did. Each resolution was centered around crafting and blogging. I was so excited on Dec 31st when I actually kept each one. That inspired me to make the most important one this year to become healthier.

Since retiring 11 years ago and Sam working from home we have really allowed out health and weight to get out of control.

Today we started on the

To check it out click here.

I purchased this program several years back and never did anything with it.

After going back through it and looking it up online I found they have a online version so I decided to do it. I think with it being online it will fit better into my daily life instead of all the books and CD's.

It will be hard for a little while because the programs requires you eat 6 times a day. I usually eat 1 or maybe sometimes 2 times a day. Which I know is why I have gained weight.

If you would like to follow along just click the link above "Our Food Lover's Journey" in the tab section. I will be sharing our ups and downs, menus, etc.

Well it's time for our morning snack. Hope to be back tomorrow with my first 2015 crafting project.

Thank you for stopping by.

  3. Isn't it amazing how quiet and empty our homes feel without the little ones? Even when my little grands are asleep at my house, my home just feels "fuller" somehow. There is just nothing that compares to those sweeties!

Good luck with your lifestyle change. Change is hard, but it will get a bit easier each day. I had decided to get serious with my walking once the new year started. I did pretty well for a few days, then hurt my back (lifting one of my little ones who is isn't so little anymore!). I'm getting better and in less pain each day and hope to get back to it by Monday. I wish us all luck with these new life goals!

  8. Go for it ! And we will cheer you a long. I didn't make any resolutions this year as such. I did achieve one last year, and that was to see Andy home for good before the end of the year :-) Have a great week and year. Hugs, Karon.
