"Special Challenge - Use Rhinestones" over at Silhouette Challenges.
I have been wanting to use the Silhouette for Rhinestones for sometime.
This challenge gave me the opportunity.
For my first project I decided to add some stones to a shirt.
I used a free flower file that I download with the free download card that came in the Rhinestone Starter Kit.
The hat on the shirt already had some sequins on the band. I thought adding the flower would finish it off. I love how it turned out.

For my second project I thought I would try it on card stock.
I took a file from the Silhouette Store, copied it then erased everything but the butterfly. Using the Rhinestone tool I filled the butterfly. Cut it on the template material, transferred to another copy of the butterfly I had made and cut out in pink. Used the iron and they adhered perfectly.

Wow, Nana, these projects are outstanding! I didn't even think about adding to another medium on the shirt, imagine what some rhinestones and some HTV could do! I also wouldn't have imagined using them for paper crafting and they turned out fabulous! I might need to expand my rhinestone collection, LOL. Thanks for so much inspiration!
