HAVE FUN & spread the word!
This week I had hope to open the first challenge with a quilt. However, my grandson did not want me quilting so I did not. Today while at Joanns we picked up a kids apron. My grandson has 2 here. One from Home Depot and one from Lowes. He always wants to wear them when we are crafting. I want let him because they give out badges etc that you put on the aprons and we want to keep them just for that.
When we came home he looked through some of my Embroidery files and picked out what he wanted. Well what he wanted out of the files I let him choose from. lol When my GF was here last week I played with a Owl applique design and found it to be much easier than I had imagined. So that is what I wanted to play with today. I just love how easy it is to have the machine do all the work for you.
-The Monster at the top of the apron the C is material and the rest embroidery.
-The Paint Brush handle is material with the rest being embroidery.
-The Artist Palette is material with the paint dots are embroidery
I still need more practice on trimming the material before it does the final satin stitch around the material. I will get there one day. Thank God I have a child who loves it and does not see the mistakes.
